Rethabile Matekane-Gauthier Marketing Director

Rethabile’s work experience spans to almost 20 years in the Marketing Industry. She has a strong background in areas such as Strategy, brand strategy, Marketing, PR, Communication, Business development to mention a few. Rethabile worked for companies like Lion of Africa Insurance & Lion of Africa Life Insurance as Head- Group Marketing, Old Mutual SA as Senior Marketing Consultant Northern Region PFA, Old Mutual Emerging Markets as Senior Project Manager- Marketing. Director and worked as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Co-Founder of WAY FINANCIAL SERVICES (WAYFS) FSP50619, an Insurance Life Cell Captive underwritten by Guardrisk Insurance Company Limited FSP46. For the past two years working as the Chief Executive Officer for WAYFS, her role was to incept the Life Cell captive (Long term Insurance). To ensure license requirements are met. She is currently an Executive Director (Marketing Director) at ECAT Online System, responsible to overseeing the development and implementation of marketing strategies to drive sales and build brand awareness. Her responsibilities include developing an overall marketing plan, approving campaigns and measuring the return on investment of various advertising methods.

It is in this same regard, that Rethabile is one of the many sought after female industry experts in the field of marketing and Insurance.

She is a success oriented, self-motivated and determined all round marketing expert who holds various academic accreditations from well recognized institutions such as the WITS Business School, University of Cape Town’s- Graduate School of Business, Damelin, the Old Mutual Business School and the Institute of Marketing Management (IMM), (Insurance Regulatory Examination (RE5) to name a few.

Hugo graduated as an Electronic Engineer at Montreal Ecole Polytechnique in 1992 and did his final year project at the CNRS research centre in Toulouse, France. He worked 4 years in the electronic engineering field before deciding to travel at the age of 27.

In 2002 Hugo established an Online web development and online Marketing Agency called ECAT Online System (ECAT). ECAT is a South African company, based in Pretoria. The company has an astounding track record in web design, and online development and serves medium to large businesses in South Africa and internationally.

Tyron Evert Head Developer

Tyron is an analytical and detail orientated individual, capable of Designing, Developing and Implementing systems according to given requirements. He has strong skills in Critical thinking, Problem solving, Teamwork, Self-Development and Mathematical Aptitude. He enjoys dabbling in new technologies in his free time to stay relevant in his field. He has 6 Years of experience in developing and maintaining all aspects of E-Commerce and static websites, internal systems, server and database management and mobile app development using web-based technologies. He developed and maintained over 100 different websites both front-end and back-end.

In 2014 he joined ECAT Online System as Head Developer and his key responsibilities include, Database Management, Server Management, External and Internal Systems Integration, API creation and automation, Content Management System Design and Development, Design and Develop Systems for E-Commerce sites (order posting, order tracking, 3D Product Viewing), Debug and Solve errors in all internal systems both server and browser side, Design, Develop and apply SEO strategies, Measure analytical data to improve and speed up current systems, Apply web based strategies to create Mobile Apps for Android and Apple and DevOps.

HIn 2012 he Pangolin Construction CC, a Family business, which he helped on some weekends when needed, and his responsibilities were, basic Office work, operate a Laser cutting/engraving Machine, quoting customers, creating and Designing physical products using various vector-based programs and basic technical support.

Tyron matriculated at Abbotts College in Silver Lakes and achieved 5 distinctions in 2012. In 2013, he joined the University of Pretoria for 4 years; 1 and half years of the variant of mechatronics then switched to computer Sciences. He did not complete the degree; however he is intending to complete as soon as he can. Tyron is a self-taught developer mainly.

In 2015, during his 3rd year of study, he did his internship at Information Community Engagement Programme Company (ICEP)and worked as a student assistant for a period of 06 months, which was extended for another 6 months due to his dedication to his work. This is where his skills broadened even more in the IT world. With time, he developed very good communications skills including verbal and interpersonal which are the most important in his chosen field of study. In 2017 he joined ECAT Online System as a Junior Website Developer and continued to work his way up. He later got a promotion as a Senior Website Developer and was offered shares in the company.

Musa holds a Diploma in Information Technology from Tshwane University of Technology-best recognized for producing quality IT students. He was acquitted with several programming languages such as HTML5, CSS3, C#, PhP and python just to name a few.

His interests outside of the IT world, include the Meter Taxi business which he established in 2021. He inherited his grandmother's farm which he is also very passionate about and is looking to start Cattle Farming business at a later stage.

While working with Barnstone, Sibusiso was entrusted to share very sensitive information in many multi-million BBBEE/ Share ownership schemes, among which included the Impala Platinum’s Morokotso Trust, AECI and Assore Limited. He was also part of the Change Management Consultants team which implemented Change Management in Transnet Freight Rail (TFR) when moving from three Regional based operations to a 6 Business Units (BU) based operations.

He is a graduate from the University of Zululand with a Bachelors’ degree in Administration specializing in Industrial Psychology.
Outside of the Online marketing space, Sibusiso has successfully self-published two best-selling books, working toward publishing his third. He is also working as a Tour Guide for one of South Africa’s leading Tour Operator (Travel2Africa).
